The Innovation Flow
Просмотров 5833 года назад
As leaders operating in a complex and volatile world, we need to solve problems by creating new products, services and solutions. At THNK getting to these solutions is achieved by using the innovation flow: a cycle which consists of sensing, visioning, prototyping and scaling. Sensing consists of a wide exploration of the topic, combining rational analysis with intuitive gathering of insights. ...

Albert Einstein once said: “If I had an hour to solve a problem and my life depended on the solution, I would spend the first 55 minutes determining the proper question to ask… for once I know the proper question, I could solve the problem in less than five minutes.” As leaders we are often tasked to solve problems and innovate creative and original solutions. A powerful creative question can h...
Reactive Mindset
Просмотров 1,5 тыс.3 года назад
We all have moments when we’re not at our best. In times of stress and anxiety, different people find different ways of coping with stress, sometimes unconsciously relying on often-used patterns and behaviors. As opposed to creative leaders, who are able to lead with clarity of vision and purpose amidst complexity and ambiguity, reactive leaders are less aware and more swayed by external factor...
Giving Feedback
Просмотров 2,3 тыс.3 года назад
As leaders, one of the best ways to grow ourselves and others around us is by giving and receiving feedback. Feedback helps us to grow, to become more aware, to become more efficient and to innovate. But many of us struggle with feedback: we give too little, too late, we forget to mention the positive and we leave the negative for the annual performance review. Why is giving feedback so hard? O...

The gravest mistake is to assume that all people are good on the inside. They have never met truly horrible people, people whos passionate side want the suffering and pain of others. Like the communists who devastated the Slavic countries killing millions of people in 1917 and millions more in the GULAG, or the Nazis who killed millions of Jews between 1939 and 1945. Or Islamists... Or Maoists... Or Ottomans... HAMAS... ISIS.... They have spent their whole lives living like a golden fish in a glass jar, protected from the horrors of the world outside Britain. Benjamin was 6 years old when WW2 ended and has been playing his music ever since. They just don't understand that there are a lot of people who are just horrible monsters, and that's actually unfair to monsters. It's a terrible and dangerous wide-eyed blindness.

If you are feeling your partner might be cheating on you, but there's no definite evidence. You're faced with two alternatives seek out the facts, or to turn a blind eye. Selecting the first choice, although often suitable in the short term, is incredibly damaging for your personally, But for your children and family, not only in the long run too. Seeking the truth out isn't simple either as I mentioned before, technology had made infidelity much easier to conceal than in the past, however it also provides opportunities for revealing getting the evidence needed to establish them & affairs. I hate cheaters, my husband never gave me a reason to be suspicious until I found him and her colleague at a romantic restaurant. They told me it was work stuff but something wasn't right. I was worried until I was introduced to ultimate hack who offer Remote Installation to the his device, They build a web Dashboard for monitoring, 24x7 monitoring (Live GPS), They also gave me full access into the Social apps (Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, etc. There service is 100 % Anonymous, SHA-256 Encrypted Data, They also recover all Deleted Messages and Data you can contact via gmail ultimatehack003@gmail,com or whatsapp +17202954268 wishing you the best

I’m David Mark Dannov. I graduated from C.S.U.L.B.’s Creative Writing Program in 1994 under the direction of Gerald Locklin; I was accepted into the M.F.A. Program in 1994; but decided to go overseas and keep writing, reading; and growing to get a better grasp on the craft. Before I left I wrote a 1,500 page novel, which I knew was a chaotic explosion of my voice; and ideas; and style; but as I kept working on this massive ship I realized I’d written about 9 narrative poetry books; 5 novels; and a short story manuscript. I’ve been revising all these books for about 20 years now, including the middle grade, urban fantasy novel I’d like to share, which is entitled, Natasha and the Tree. After many years of substitute teaching middle school students holding back my thoughts I’d eventually conceptualized a story, which these youthful students could identify with; it sums-up the tragedy and heroics taking place in today’s reality and inner spiritual conflicts using a playful bowl students can easily mix. The main character, Natasha, is based on my sister’s personality; but the mythological story is mine based on my early journey to become an artist in a corporate run capitalist cage. After 15 years I’ve finally finished the last revision of this story I’m happy with. I substitute taught middle school students for decades trying to think of a way to teach the very adult subject matter of tyranny; and censorship eventually conceptualizing this story. I’m proud of Natasha and the Tree; it’s come a long way. I hope you can help me find a way this story can squeeze through the Death Star cracks; and get published. I use the word ‘druid’ in the book to represent a creative person; an artist. I know the controllers of the market right now are focused on keeping this kind of story out of the spotlight to make sure creative, individual strength is hidden; so by using the word ‘druid’ I feel the story’s spiritual strength would be disguised, at least to the point where the book would have a chance in the free market; or what‘s left of the market to the point it would have a fair shake; this druid-artist connection would also be disguised from the misinterpretation of the literal perspective of druids being dark and deceptive, which, the mainstream media has been overly playing for decades. There are many metaphors within the word ‘druid’ ready to be plucked. Metaphor these days is manipulated; so this would only benefit the instinctual message of the tale itself. This book has something unique the market is thirsting for in my eyes. It has the feel good backbone of the Wizard of Oz; and Star Wars. I realize by writing this very straight, Kung Fu way I’m narrowing my chances to land an agent; but I also believe it increases my chances to find the right agent; if you’re that agent you know what I mean. If you can look through the book burning, which is taking place in today’s publishing and literary agent arena using the very sly move of isolation; and invisible censorship by the mere refusal letter; then perhaps there’s a chance of growth; the possibility this story can blossom; and the egg of a new mythology both parties will eventually be capable of hatching. I very much look forward to hearing from you. ……………………… Natasha doesn't get along with her stepmother or father after the death of her mother. To cope she speaks to a talking tree, which grows in front of her house in Smile Valley; his name is Rigden. After a convincing conversation ready for something new she eventually walks down a spiraling staircase within the tree itself; going on a quest to find the secret plans of the Queen (all within the magical world of the tree) she must face Demola, who’s an evil witch with bat wings; and The Skinless Man, along with black-robe dwarves, who are life-long employees of the Skinless Man’s Company to become a Druid with magical powers strong enough to withstand the Machine in A.L.E.N Headquarters. Some people I know, who’ve read the book say the story reminds them of Star Wars mixed with Alice in Wonderland. Pseudonym: Sherwood Moody davidmdannov@gmail.com
